History of the Hawthorn v Fremantle rivalry
While Fremantle is one of the newest additions to the AFL, the teams have built a healthy rivalry since 1997. Hawthorn and Fremantle have featured in 3 finals.
The 2010 Elimination Final held at Subiaco, where Fremantle got off to a good start and were never headed.
The 2013 Grand Final, Fremantles only Grand Final to date. The Purple Army descended on the MCG in force. Early inaccuracy cost the Dockers and while they battled to the end, they were always playing catch up football against the Hawks.
The 2015 Preliminary Final at Subiaco, where Fremantle started the game strongly, before the Hawks fought their way back into the match. Fremantle hung in bravely, but a miskick in the backline was intercepted by Cyril Rioli and the Hawks never looked back on their way to their third consecutive Premiership.

If any AFL match you book with The Golden Ticket is cancelled, rescheduled to another date or is played without crowds then you are entitled to a full refund.
